The International Green Awards™ ‘Grand Prix’ is the pinnacle of the awards, recognising the crème-de- la- crème of organizations who have made it through to being winners in their respective categories for their innovative campaigns.
The Grand Prix looks for substance over surface, assessing the real difference in terms of changing attitudes and behaviour, rather than presenting just an aesthetically pleasing solution.
The 2011 Green Grand Prix, sponsored by Celestial Green Ventures PLC, was awarded to Unilever PLC for their ambitious Sustainable Living Plan, and in recognition of their continual efforts to promote holistic sustainability and well being.
Previous Grand Prix winners include Nokia, Keep Britain Tidy, Honda and O2. The 2010 Awards saw Chinese NGO, China Environmental Protection Foundation, win this coveted award for an innovative outdoor campaign with the simple message of ‘walk more, drive less’!
