Dubai Sustainability Summit – 5™ June 2012
The International Green Awards™ organised its first sustainability summit in Dubai, UAE on 5th June 2012. Organised in association with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Istidama and Industry RE, the summit engaged on key topical sustainability relevant in the Middle East.
Hosted at the premises of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Deira, this one-day summit brought together a wide audience engaged in sustainability with the objective of sharing knowledge and recognising best practice. As part of the event, there were several panel discussions on various sustainability elements, from recycling through to energy.

The event concluded with recognition of local projects and organisations who have demonstrated excellence in sustainability, presented by Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Emirates Green Building Council.
